MINI PAMPER VEHICLE

A versatile, compact and state of the art hull cleaning machine, capable of removing mild or tenacious hull fouling from a variety of coatings, including the new low surface energy coatings being introduced into service.

MINI PAMPER POWER SYSTEM

UMC can supply bespoke power systems to suit customer requirements and preferences. These can be either diesel or electric driven, and can generally conform to space limitations.

TWIN BRUSH CLEANING MACHINE

A unique and compact diver held twin brush machine which has forward and backward assist technology. The machine complements the Mini Pamper hull cleaning machine, for cleaning rudders etc, but equally capable of cleaning entire ships hulls. Easy to mobilise and can be powered by UMC's LD50 Power pack.

SINGLE BRUSH CLEANING/POLISHING TOOL

A versatile hydraulic hand tool capable of being used as a propeller polishing tool, underwater drill or core sampling tool, and as a single brush tool to complement hull cleans on large vessels for confined spaces. The tool can be used for cleaning smaller vessels. Powered by UMC's LD 50 power pack.

LD 50 HYDRAULIC POWER PACK

A compact and versatile power system easy to mobilise and move around on the job site, due to its 'wheel barrow' design. The LD50 powers the twin brush hand held cleaning machine, propeller polishing tool, underwater surface preparation tool, and also can be used to power underwater drilling equipment etc.

BRUSHES & PADS FOR HULL CLEANING/ PROPELLER POLISHING

UMC manufacture a vast variety of brush types to facilitate removal of very light micro slime to the heaviest of shell and calcareous marine growth. These brushes are available in two sizes (diameters) for use with either our Mini Pamper hull cleaning machine, or our smaller twin and single brush cleaning tools.
Our brushes are designed to be able to remove marine fouling from all types of hull coatings.

NEUTRALLY BUOYANT HULL APERTURE BLANKS

UMC have been manufacturing Neutrally Buoyant Hull Aperture Blanks, to a unique design, for over twenty years. Full sets of blanks are routinely supplied to new building yards in order that the new vessels store them onboard for future planned inspection or emergency maintenance and repair of associated sea water intake and extract system valves and piping.
Single blanks can be provided as can retrofit systems for existing vessels.

UNDERWATER PLASMA ARC CUTTING SYSTEM

A unique underwater cutting system that requires no consumables, thus drastically reducing the budget required for associated contracts. Reduction of operating costs increases contractor chance of securing work.

UNDERWATER APPLICABLE PAINT

This paint has been specifically formulated for diver application underwater. The viscosity is suitable for small quantity application using a pad or spatula, and results in very little waste due to float off. Ideal for use on clean bare steel or concrete. Standard colours are white and grey although batch quantities can be supplied in most colours. Available in 5 litre packs. VOC free.

MAGNASEAL SMALL BORE (up to 110mm dia) HULL APERTURE BLANKS

Introduced in 2005, the MAGNASEAL, patented by UMC, provides a one size fits all solution to blanking off small bore hull apertures, up to 110mm dia. Its design facilitates quick in water deployment and a watertight seal is established in seconds, enabling work to be carried out on inboard sea water suction or discharge line systems

75m HYDRAULIC NEUTRALLY BUOYANT SUPPLY & RETURN UMBILICAL

This robust and tough neutrally buoyant hydraulic umbilcal is designed for use with UMC's MINI PAMPER hull cleaning system. Its buoyancy credentials ensure that it always floats toward the surface ensuring the cable always remains clear of the vehicle. The umbilical can be fited with a range of extra cables - shown is a two way voice cable for diver to surface and vice versa communications.

50m HYDRAULIC NEUTRALLY BUOYANT SUPPLY & RETURN UMBILICAL

This robust and tough neutrally buoyant hydraulic umbilcal is designed for use with UMC's Propeller Polishing System or small twin brush hull cleaning system. Its buoyancy credentials ensure that it always floats toward the surface ensuring the cable always remains clear of the tool and diver.
